Having done a small amount of meditation myself [not enough for sure] - it was once an interest to produce a really nice quality meditation stool.

This one went to a friend as gift and I sold a few others to friends of friends. This one is made from mahogany, a wood I no longer use, decorated with a simple design using mother of pearl dots.

It was certainly very comfortable although not very practical for carrying around as it is not collapsible. I have done another version in a very similar design which is collapsible making it far easier to carry around.
