I enjoy doing boxes for very specific contents - and this was one such. It was ordered to contain a valuable pocket watch - unfortunately I never got to photograph it with its valuable cargo.

It is made from solid cocobolo, a highly figured and dramatic rosewood type wood, and is about 4" x 3" x 2". It has a small brass catch which I might not use now and the corners are strengthened with brass mitre keys. The interior is lined with green velvet and fitted the watch like a glove, as it were.
