This was done for a customer who saw a green and yellow harlequin box I had done and wanted one in blue and white. Actually, when I had made the green and yellow version I only chose those colours because my usual veneer supplier, and several others, did not have a good quality blue - it was very crinkly which makes it very difficult to use for this sort of work. So, the blue and white one got made and the green and yellow was eventually sold to a customer on the Isle of Man.
