This is a simpler watercolour box than some others I have done and is veneered with Canadian ripple maple. The exterior is Danish oiled and waxed.


The interior is relatively simple - there are no trays or drawers - and comprises birch dividers veneered with ripple maple and lipped with ebony. It is fitted out to take around 20 half pans, a ceramic pallette, a hand made crystal water pot and there is plenty of space for brushes and all the usual paraphernalia necessary for the keen watercolourist.
