There is much more to do here than make boxes. We are in wonderul rural surroundings right in the middle of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, midway between Wenlock Edge and The Long Mynd. There are wonderful walks, excellent pubs, gliding, paragliding and plenty else to see and do. The popular BBC2 series 'Victorian Farm' was filmed here, and the famous Acton Scott Farm Museum is open from April 7th. The historic towns of Shrewsbury, Bishop's Castle, Much Wenlock and Ludlow are all within easy reach.
For more images of the immediate area try a Google image search for Wenlock Edge, Long Mynd and Cardingmill Valley, all of which are very close. I will shortly be adding more info to this page - for now scroll down for a few pics, a bit of info - and lots of links to excellent websites about the wonderful county of Shropshire:

Acton Scott - the estate where we live and where my workshop is. It is also where the popular BBC2 programme, 'Victorian Farm' was filmed - much of it outside our kitchen window.

This is part of the Long Mynd just behind Church Stretton, complete with part of the herd of wild horses who live here. This is about 15 mins from the workshop - it's not snow covered all the time ... |
