Woodworking Courses
It is possible to learn some of the many diverse techniques needed to create fine boxes from books - there are certainly some good books out there, I even wrote some of them myself. But with the best will in the world, it's just not the same as doing it - real, hands-on, sawdust-all-over-the-floor experience. To this end what I offer is a choice of:
weekend courses - apart from a few initial machining stages you make a complete box, veneered, inlaid and lined.
one to one tuition - the Rolls Royce: bespoke training days tailored to cover exactly the areas you want to cover.
Classes in Woodworking and Woodcraft
Which you choose is up to you: if cost is an issue then perhaps a weekend is for you, but if you want the time to be as flexible as possible then the one to one would be best. It depends on your experience and what you want to achieve. There is more detailed information about the different options on their relevant pages - and feel free to call me on 01694 781318 or 07939 541627 if you'd like to discuss ...
